The Scarred Sunflower is a small (disabled woman-owned) business that was created out of a long on-going journey of self-growth, self-care, and self-love. That journey has included finding natural products to remove anything toxic out of my life. It started with apothecary remedies that quickly bloomed into figuring out how to make my own bath and body products.

 

The foundation of my being is helping people, by meeting them where they are at, being there for them, supporting them, and granting grace.

 

At The Scarred Sunflower you are going to find more than just great handmade products. I hope you can find a tribe that fits your vibe, because you are not alone in your journey. As the sunflower stands tall, strong, and sturdy throughout the storms so will you. As the sunflower follows the sun, soaking in its warmth and nourishment, so will you. Our scars are not always visible, nor are they completely healed, but when we follow our sunshine, the journey from a vast barren void finds its way to abundant fields of strength, resilience, and empowerment.
